A rule of thumb I have with most body care products is that if I can't eat it I don't want to put it on my skin. Our skin is the largest organ, and of course it absorbs everything you put on it, and that goes directly into our blood stream. With that said, I am always looking for good DIY facial products that will be effective, and easy to do. I've tried a few different vitamin C masks, and I like this one the best. I use powdered vitamin C and aloe vera gel which is very soothing, and also great for moisture in the skin. You can buy both of the products at any health food store.
Why vitamin C?
- Helps brighten and tighten the skin
- Combats wrinkles by helping to produce collagen (yah!)
- Reduces the negative effects of sun exposure
